Create a Fusion Account
The Lackawanna Trail School District utilizes the School Fusion websites to deliver information and provide a way for students and parents to interact with teachers and the school. By creating a Fusion account, parents have the ability to view the classes their students are members of, choose to receive updates from the school district, your child’s school, and your child’s teachers.

It is easy to create an account. Simply click on NEW USER ACCOUNT on your child’s school’s home page and follow the steps. You will need your child’s five-digit identification number when creating your account. That number can be found on your child’s schedule or by contacting the school office.

We encourage you to create an account in Fusion to receive reminders and updates. As with any web-based organization, you can choose to cancel your account at any time by contacting Mrs. Kelly Hopkins in the high school library at hopkinsk @ ltsd.org.

The LTHS Library is excited to announce fantastic new resources available for our students in school and from home. The library has added World Book Online and Facts on File to our reference collection. World Book is an interactive, online encyclopedia that your student can use to do research, complete homework, or simply explore. Facts on File are targeted databases that support the Social Studies, Science, Math, English, and Health curriculums. Students can gain access to these databases by stopping in to the library or asking their teachers. There is no sign-up process, and all students are welcome to visit the library to log on as well. Both resources are available on the LTHS Library webpage.

Vision Statement
Each building in the Lackawanna Trail School District has a vision statement that embodies what each building believes it must do in order to accomplish the overall mission of the school district itself.  Vision statements were crafted after a review of current literature that stresses such statements should be focused, measurable, and doable.
The vision of the Lackawanna Trail Junior-Senior High School is to provide an educational atmosphere where all students are safe, nurtured both academically AND socially, with access to a wide variety of challenging courses.  During their high school years, students will be able to measure their acquired knowledge by achieving proficiency on standardized, as well as teacher created, assessments because of the education they receive from a highly qualified faculty.  Upon fulfilling all graduation requirements, students will have then mastered the standards-based curriculum--making them fully prepared to enter college, post-secondary vocational school, the armed services, or the work force.  Regardless of their post-secondary choice, students will graduate being technologically literate, being able to access pertinent information, and will be able to effectively collaborate with others--making them productive citizens.
